Greg Uptain has been the sports editor for the Suburban Journals of West St. Louis County for the past five years. He covers 21 different boys and girls sports for 35 high schools spanning seven papers in the West County coverage area.
A graduate
of Hazelwood East High School and Lindenwood University, Uptain also
has extensive experience covering high school sports on the radio,
having worked for KCFV-FM in Ferguson, Mo., KCLC-FM in St. Charles,
Mo., KSLQ-FM in Washington, Mo., and KZMM-FM in Troy, Mo. He also
previously worked in the news department at KTRS-AM in St. Louis and
the promotions department at KLOU-FM in St. Louis."
