KEY GAMES THAT YOU MISSED THIS WEEKEND….
….MICDS rallied by scoring two touchdowns in the 4th quarter to upend Priory 26-21. The Rebels had knocked off the Rams last year and held a 21-14 lead entering the final quarter. Alim Muhammad caught two TD strikes from Brian Trelstad for the Rams.MICDS moves to 3-1 and the Priory Rebels drop to 2-2 for the season.
….Maryville scored in the 4th quarter to edge Bishop LeBlond 18-16 as Trent Nally found Tanner Dredge for a 15 yard TD pass. The Spoofhounds are now 4-0 while the Golden Eagles slip to 2-2 for the season.
….Ft Zumwalt North pushed their record to 4-0 as they handled Ft Zumwalt South 55-19 in a turbo-clock game. Brande Pierce scored three touchdowns while Cameron Fullerton crossed the goal line twice to lead the Panthers. This week FZN faces a district rival Ft Zumwalt East who is also 4-0—should be a dandy!
…CBC was behind Lindbergh 21-20 midway in the 3rd quarter when the switch “went on” for the Cadets. IN a stretch of just over 4 minutes, that included late 3rd and early 4th quarters, the Cadets scored three quick touchdowns to finish the game holding onto 49-29 non-conference victory.
…Chillicothe bounced back from the defeat in week 3 to topple Cameron from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Hornets 17-14 saw the winning points come off of the foot of Zach Alperin when he booted a 25 yard FG through the uprights in the 3rd quarter. Both of these teams are now 3-1.
….Raytown South scored last and held onto a hard-fought 26-24 win over St Joe Central. Glen Pargo rushed for 177 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Cardinals.
