Webb City’s 91 GAME WINNING STREAK SNAPPED!

The Webb City Cardinals (class 4) dropped a wild scoring 42-35 game to Har-Ber, Ark (class 7) and their regular season winning of 91 games ended. The Cardinals last lost on October 17, 2003. But this was a tough one take for the Cards. Holding sizable leads of 28-7 (2nd qtr.) and 35-14 in the 3rd, WC could not hold off the Wildcats in the final quarter. The big play was when Nose guard Josh Frazier, 6’4, 330 pounds, recovered a fumble with 8:29 left in the game that was tied.  That led to the winning TD. The Cardinals were beaten by a team ranked #1 in many Arkansas polls in the top 100 of the Rivals rankings. The Wildcats were voted the 98th best team in the country.
