Senior running backs Anthony Roe and Austin Brewer each went over 100
yards for the 4th straight week. Brewer had 161 yards on 22 carries and
Roe ran for 156 and 3 touchdowns on 17 carries. QB Wyatt Lalumandier
added 53 more yards on 12 totes of the mail as the Dragons repeatedly
came up with big 3rd and 4th down conversions. SG was 10-16 on 3rd down
and 3-6 on 4th down.

Lalumandier completed 7-14 passes for 156 yards, 2 for touchdowns of 17
yards to Logan Rhinehart and 26 to Dalton Giesler. The Dragons finished
with a whopping 525 yards of total offense in a game they never trailed.

Ste. Gen scored first late in the 1st quarter on an 11 play, 74 yard
drive capped off by Roe’s 2 yard run with :48 left for a 7-0 advantage.
PH Central countered 2 plays later on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter as
Rebel QB Jake Bridges hit Drew Harlow on a beautiful throw and catch
from 43 yards out and a 7-7 tie.

The Dragons came right back with a 3 play 81 yard drive and a 62 yard
Roe gallop to the house for a 14-7 lead with 10:48 to go in the half.
The final SG TD came just :22 from the end of the half following a
Bridges fumble at the Rebel 34. It took 8 plays for Lalumandier to find
Rhinehart on a slant from 17 yards away. SG dominated statistically in
the opening 24 minutes running 40 plays for 269 yards to the Rebels 18
plays for just 124.

Central took nearly half of the 3rd quarter clock to go 80 yards in 11
plays as Bridges snuck it in from inches away on 4th down and then
alertly ran in the 2 point conversion after a low snap for a 20-15 game
and 6:44 left in quarter 3.

Ste. Gen countered quickly with a 7 play, 62 yard drive 3 minutes later
and Lalumandier hit Giesler on a 4th down crossing route for a 26-15
lead. The Rebels scored again less than a minute later as Bridges again
found Harlow down the middle of the field for a 62 yard TD catch and run
to cut the lead back to 26-21 as a try for two failed.

Back came Ste. Gen in the highly entertaining game just over a minute
later with :52 to go in the 3rd as a 50 yard Brewer run set up a 25 yard
tight rope sideline TD jaunt by Lalumandier. He also scored on the 2
point conversion run and the Dragons had a 34-21 lead after 3.

Ste. Gen had a pair of defensive stops in the 4th and put the cherry on
the sundae with 1:28 left as Roe busted into the end zone for his 3rd TD
from the Rebel 27.

Ste. Gen held Bridges to 10-20 passing for 209 yards and 104 yards on
the ground for 313 total. The Dragons were led defensively by DE Morgan
Schenk with 9 tackles.

Much of the credit goes to the Dragon offensive line that features all
seniors, center Leelan Huck, guards, Gabe Harmon and Kade Jett, and
tackles Schenk and AJ Gonz.

The Dragons will host Perryville for homecoming next Friday night.

Prepcasts Ste. Genevieve will audio stream Valle Catholic (6-0) hosting
Potosi (4-2) at 7:00. The top ranked Class 1 Warriors won their 36th
straight covering 3 seasons, 63-6, over Jefferson R-7.
