Rusher Daylen Edwards and defensive end Nathaniel Howard in Ladue 56-14 win over Jennings.

It was a big day for sophomore Daylen Edwards who ran for a 42-yard TD and 100 yards of rushing, all in the first half.

Edwards rushed for 100 yards and TD runs of 42 and 3 and Howard played a sensational defensive game, covering three fumbles in the big 8th win of the season.
Nathaniel Howard was a stalwart on defense, covering three fumbles and was rewarded with second quarter TD run of 3 yards.

Matthew Hooper ran for two TDs (4 and 1 yards) and fired TD passes to Cody Kniptash of 17 and 29 and Ladue romped to a clock-shortened 56-14 win over host Jennings to run the record to 8-1 and eight in a row.

Zack Zuckerman, a defensive end capped off a big performance scoring on an interception of 10 yards to cap off the big win before the playoffs begin Thursday.

Jennings got a TD from Roderick Isom on a 4 yard pass from Jordan Cook and a late TD on a two yard run. Playing on a new synthetic turf, Miles was the first Jennings player to score on the new field this year.

Jennings dropped to 3-6 and Ladue won the Suburban East Conference for the third-consecutive year, this time with a perfect 5-0 conference record. – Click here for video of the 3rd quarter
