In week six of the high school football season, the Northwest Lions will travel to take on Jefferson Country foe, the Seckman Jaguars. This rivalry is as heated as they come, and both teams will be looking to take advantage and create momentum heading toward the playoffs. The key will be, as always with these two programs, is which team will win the battle in the trenches.

The Jaguars (0-5) are still searching for their first win and are coming off a bitter 21-12 defeat to their district rival, the Fox Warriors. The Warriors limited the Jaguars to only 204 yards of total offense. Top performers for the Jaguars were junior, Joe Ambrose, and sophomore, Connor McCoy. Ambrose carried the ball 27 times for 63 yards, while McCoy completed 11 of 18 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown.  Click here for the REPlay …

The Lions (1-4) lost to the Oakville Tigers last week, 48-6. The Lions defense was unable to slow down the high powered Tigers and quickly fell behind. The Lions split most of the workload for their rushing attack, but senior, Brad Peeples led the way with 9 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown. Senior, Minor Jones led the Lions defense, recording 10 total tackles.  Click here for the REPlay …
