St Genevieve Dragons bounced back from their stinging defeat to Platte County last week by pounding #4 ranked Herculaneum Black Cats 42-7. Playing these talented teams will toughen the Dragons for post-season play.
The Afton Cougars are finally starting to gain some recognition after they beat the Jennings Warriors 24-0 in a Suburban East match up. The ball control (31 minutes to 17) indicates the superior line play that the Cougars are getting up front.

... Hazelwood Wildcats were up 58-6 at half, coasted to 65-26 victory over Ritenour.
….St Charles West was into the running clock 35-0 as 2nd half began, the Clayton Greyhounds scored 21 points in 4th quarter as final score read: SCW 42 Clay 21.
Ft Zumwalt West climbed from a 17-0 deficit and Tyson Kankolenski booted a 28 yd FG through the uprights with 0:10 remaining as the Jaguars (5-1) won 23-20!
Leading at one point 25-20, the Collinsville Kahoks dropped a 48-38 shootout in a wild, high scoring Southwestern Conference game Bell East.
Howell North (6-0) fell behind for the 3rd time this year as they handled the Washington Bluejays 28-16 in a GAC game.
The Rockhurst (5-1) sent a loud message to the entire Class 6 with their 47-12 triumph over the Jefferson City Jays (3-3). The Hawklets rebounded from their 1st loss a week earlier to one of the top teams in Texas.
In a great pitching dual, Nikki Dillon (Cor Jesu) shut out the Ursuline Academy Bears 1-0 in 8 innings. CJ only had 2 hits for the day against Leslie Furdek (UA) but scored an unearned run to win the game and move onto to sectional play. Pirates(fresh from their win over St Gen) was dropped 44-17 to the Dragons.
Again, Drew Newhart threw 4 TD passes, 248 yards to lead this impressive
team to victory.
