3 Seniors on team with over 50 ppg...who wants to schedule them ?

Union Wildcats romped past Westminster Wildcasts (replay on www.prepcasts.com) 48-20 on rare Saturday afternoon game. Only 3 seniors dot this roster while averaging over 52 points. Coach Brent Eckley, who arrived at Union three years ago, has elevated this moribund program to a extremely high level by using a no-huddle, wide open offense.  Union is now on the STATE stage ! Congrats to the Union program and Coach Eckley. I'm sure that they look forward to next year when the roster will include around a dozen seniors.

Who else is averaging 50+ ppg ? Send to bryan@prepcasts.com

2 point conversions--some work (and you win) and others....

1) St Pius Lancers (1-4) scored a TD with 1:43 left and trailed 21-20. Disdaining the attempt to tie the game and roll into OT, the Lancers won the game as PJ Linderer scored the 2 pt-PAT going for 2 to win over St Vincent Indians (2-3) in Mississippi Blue action!

2) Perryville Pirates faced their critical decision with 7minutes left in the game. After Kris Cottner raced 72 yards for the TD to cut the Potosi lead to 22-20, the Pirates went for 2 pt-PAT (fairly easy choice). QB Josh Perreault fell short as did the Pirate results for the game. Potosi raised their mark to 4-1 for the season.
