How would you like to score 55 points and never have the lead in the game? Some "new" teams on the upswing, 21 points in 2:12 ! Points explosion !! Warriors on the rampage ! 3 minutes of misery (for defenders)

Can you believe it ?

Look at the score-Union (4-0) 77 Herman (3-1) 55 !

It's not a typo ! There actually was 132 points, 1175 yards of total offense, in this game that ESPN probably would have used up all their commercial spots during all the scoring breaks ! (right !) Jordan Webb(Union QB) hits the lucky 7 for the second consecutive week--that's right 7 TD passes ! Herman trailed by 14 before even touching the ball offensively ! What do you think about these two offensive

machines ? Will either reach the DOME ?

Warriors on the Rampage !

Watch out !! These Warriors are running wild. Warrenton (2-2) evened their record for first time since 2002 as they whipped Pacific 31--21 Alex Toebben scored 3 TD for the Warriors who are now in GAC conference.

Fox Warriors (3-1) continue to blossom as the "Cinderella" story of 07 by bouncing Festus Tigers (3-1)from the unbeaten ranks by an 18-14 score. Fox only loss was in the waning seconds of opening game to State-ranked Farmington when the Knights booted a FG to pull off the rally win.

Can you say 3:00 minutes of TD's ?

St Francis Borgia (3-1) dominated most of the first half but held a slim 7-0 lead until late in the half. The Knights erupted for 21 points in the last 2:12 of the half to break open the game against the Westminster Wildcats(3-1) . Borgia coasted to a 35-0 win. Since losing to Union in game one, Borgia has shut out the last 3 opponents while averaging over 30ppg !

With 3 minutes left in game, N. Calloway Thunderbirds scored on a 1 yd QB sneak to take a 32-19 lead. Wait a minute...before you leave...Montgomery County Reggie Ramey (normally a running back but taking snaps due to injury earlier in game) throws 2 quick passes, second one for TD, to make it 32-27. Onsides kick fails, Thunderbirds try killing clock as Wildcasts burn timeouts. Finally, Travis Thacher bounces outside on a QB sneak and turns it into a 51 yd TD ! Over now.....nope ! Now Reggie Ramey runs back the KO for 80 yard TD ! When the Thunderbirds hung onto the next onside kick, this wild one comes to an terrific ending.

Play it again Sam !

Moberly Spartans (4-0) replayed their same offensive tune from the previous week as they blasted the Blair Oaks Falcons 37-7. Caleb Lewis and Dustin Allen were the featured backs during this replay. Lewis, 17 for 24. 227 yards, spread the ball around to four receivers all night long and also handed off to Allen 20 carries for 123 yards. The Spartans hope to move up in the state rankings. Currently, Moberly is #4 in Class 2.

Rallies around the state...

Fulton Hornets(4-0) came back from a 14-0 deficit behind some HUGE offensive plays. Josh Long, Jon Sidney and Antawan Ferguson, all crossed the goal line on long runs against the Marshall Owls (2-2) to keep Hornets unbeaten

Palmyra(3-1) scored with just 43 seconds left to take the lead after blocking a Mexico(2-2) punt and left the host school 27-20 victors.

Top Ten Tilts...

Class 6 powerhouses, #2 Rockhurst (4-0) exploded for 27 4th quarter points as they upended the #3 ranked Jeffeson City Jays (3-1) 55-21. Hawklet QB Nathan Scheelhaase completed 11 of 21 passes for 234 yards to lead the offensive surge.

Lee Summit West (4-0) enjoyed the late 70 yard INT-TD by safety Ben Seabaugh as they fought to a 14-0 win over Park Hill in a game that saw both outstanding defenses control the LOS.

Talk about balance, Sean Ransburg (Harrisonville) didn't throw repeatedly but was devastating when he did decide to go to the air. He was 10 of 17 for 276 yards and 3 TD's. ON the ground, Ransburg pounded out 17 carries for 164 yards and 4 TD. 440+ yards of total offense for Ransburg alone ! Harrisonville made a loud statement by handling St Pius X 48-20.

Ingredients for beating an unbeaten team.

Scoring 21 points after turnovers, blocked 2 punts, pinned opponents inside their own 10 yard line TWICE--these were the ingredients used by Park Hill South as they baked the previously unbeaten Lee Summit North Broncos(3-1) 28-7. Rain halted play temporarily but not the plan for success the Panthers cooked on this night.

Two Unbeatens square off and the winner is...
