Some major rallies, some clinging onto a victory, special team victories, some see-saw games, major offensive games, week 5 had it all…..
….Some big-time rallies this weekend—…down 20-12 at half, the Fair Grove Eagles scored 25 unanswered points on their way to a Mid Lakes Conference victory over the Stockton Tigers.
…Bulldogs of Ft Zumwalt South rallied for 21 4th quarter points to pull out 28-18 win over the Holt Indians in GAC action.
…N.Calloway Thunderbirds trailed 21-20 at half but dominated the 2nd half as they whipped the Bowling Green Bobcats 42-21.
..St Dominic Crusadors rang up 17 straight points in the 4th quarter at Cardinal Ritter to ice up a 31-23 win to take over the driver’s seat in the AAA. St Dominic will be on www.prepcasts.com this weekend against AAA foe Lutheran High School of St Charles.
…Parkway North Vikings spotted the #10 StL ranked Eureka Wildcats 14 points in a battle of two unbeaten teams. The Vikings responded quickly and strongly as they upended the Wildcats 37-30 with Mike Bunton scoring 4 TD’s !

..the Ozark Tigers (3-2)blocked a punt for 1 TD and a KO return for another as they won a Central Ozark conference game over the Republic Tigers 20-17.
…Scott City Rams recovered 2 onsides kicks, threw 4 HB passes and a hook & ladder as they handled the Chaffe Red Devils 36-6(21 straight years of Ram victories over Devils)
…Austin Marte kicked a 42 yd FG to help the McAuley Warriors (5-0)remain unbeaten with a 19-3 victory over the Liberal Bulldogs
..Pattonville’s Dan Cradick’s 29 yard FG was the difference as the Pirates knocked off McCluer Comets 17-14 in Suburban North play.
Hanging by a fingernail to victory.. the Monnett Cubs (4-1) built an early 1st half lead but squeked out a 27-25 win over the upset minded E.Newton Patriots (0-5).
…All points were scored in the 1st half as the Camdenton Lakers (4-1) sent the Lebanon Yellowjackets (4-1) to their 1st loss 21-13 in Ozark Conference competition.

…Rock Bridge piled up 502 total offense while the Jays of Jeff City rang up 329 yards in a 49-28 Bruin victory from a Mid-Missouri game.
…Cape Central score in 5 consecutive possessions as they coasted to a 34-10 win over St Charles West in a nonconference tilt.
…the Hillcrest Hornets had 21 points on the boards while the Parkview Vikings had snapped just 6 plays in Ozark Conference play. Hillcrest won their 1st game of the year.
…See-saw game of the week…the Windsor Owls and Festus Tigers had a tremendous game! Tied at 7, 14, 21, Festus went up 27-21 when a Pat was missed, Windsor scored and converted to take a 28-27 lead only to see the Tigers score with 4:33 left and win a thrilling 33-28 victory.
OT of the week—Cabool Bulldogs kicked a FG to edge the Thayer Bobcats 23-20 !
