… CBC (6-1) Matt Goldstein threw a complete game 3-hitter against the Mehlville Panthers (7-2) as the Cadets won 6-0 on Friday.
…..Kennet’s Ryne Branum shut down Cape Central on 3 hits on way to a 5-1 victory
….Blair Oaks (3-0) rode the pitching of Patrick Schellman (6 hits, 3 strikeouts, walked 2 in 7 innings) and Travis Henke (who got the save) to win an extra inning thriller from Russellville 3-2 in 8 innings in mid-Missouri action.
… Vianney (#5, class 4, 6-2) beat Edwardsville (11-1) as Josh Syberg (star of the 04 championship game) shut the door for 5 innings while fanning 8 batters against one of the best teams on the East Side

…pitchers dominated as Linn edged S.Calloway 2-1 and the Republic Tigers squeeked by Smith Cotton 3-1 in real nail biters this week.
