14-9 after 6 innings. The Lions erupted for 11 runs in the 7th to win 20-14!

seeds consumed, all ERA skyrocketed!
…the art of 2 out hitting was on display earlier this week. ND-Cape (13-9) scored 6 runs with 2 outs but the Sikeston Bulldogs (9-9) scored all 12 runs in a single inning with 2 outs to win 12-8 in SEMO Tournament play. Sikeston (#7seed) will square off with #1 Seed-Cape Central Tigers for championship today (Monday, May 1)
…DuBourg squeezed out just 3 hits but rode the shutout pitching of Scott Reese (5 Inn win) and Dan Abernathy (2 inn-save) to for a thrilling 1-0 win in AAA play over JFK.
…#2 ranked Warrensburg Tigers (14-4) were handcuffed by Kelly Fick (9 K.just 2 hits) of Helias (9-7) as the Crusaders won an impressive 5-1 victory with only 6 singles!
…Westminster Wildcats (11-4) racked out 12 hits but could only score single tallies in 5 different innings to notch a come from behind win 5-4 over the Priory Rebels (15-6)
…Blair Oaks Falcons (9-1) overcame some jittery defense to out slug the Linn Wildcats 13-9 in a wild contest that was never without runners on base!
…trailing 5-0 as the bottom of 6th began, the home team Clayton Greyhounds (11-6) woke up their bats as they rallied for a 7-6 win over the Borgia Knights (14-4)
…Rock Bridge Bruins (9-5) used a stingy defense and timely hitting to knock off the highly ranked Jeff City Jays (16-4) 4-2 earlier in the week in mid-Missouri.
…ODDITY OF THE WEEK—DeSmet dropped a 5-4 decision to the Oakville Tigers. Oakville scored all their runs in the 3 inning and made it stand up. This is the 3rd loss this season by this same identical score suffered by the Spartans in 2006!
…great pitching this week—Oak Park 2, Lee Summit North 1 in KC Area – Brad LaBruyere (2 hits, 16K) in 2-1 Cape Central win over Dexter in SEMO area.
…LONGEST GAME OF THE WEEK: Vianney Golden Griffins (St Louis-13-3) pushed across a run in the 10th to beat N.Kansas City in a game at Hickman 4-3!
