Veteran play-by-play broadcaster Bernie Schaefer will be behind the microphone for the Prepcasts.com Game of the week. Local High school sports expert and coach Bob Ryan will provide the color commentary as they represent one of four broadcast teams. (CLICK ABOVE PHOTO'S TO READ MORE ABOUT OUR BROADCASTERS)

Schaefer brings 18 years of play-by-play experience to the booth with an extensive background in the local high school sports scene. Since 1996, he has served as the football and basketball voice of the CBC Cadets and Triad (IL) Knights. Schaefer has also covered high school games from all of the local conferences for WINU, WFUN and KIRL Radio.

Coach Ryan has been on the high school scene for over 30 years, leading both varsity and junior varsity squads in high school football, baseball and boys & girls basketball. Ryan has coached 64 different high school athletic seasons with those 4 different sports. Ryan & Schaefer first teamed up in 1999 while covering the Metro Catholic league for KIRL radio. Ryan's knowledge of High School Sports in St. Louis and the State of Missouri is second to none.
