Tony Floyd blog on Lindbergh vs Parkway South – Week 1

The game tonight was very exciting despite the heat. The Lindbergh Flyers showed off their new offense under the direction of the new offensive coach John Fortney. The Flyers struck early scoring a touchdown off a 78 yard pass from Chuck Houska to Ben Kraft with 6:44 left in the first quarter. The Patriots would score their only touchdown of the night with a five yard run by Jake Hayes with 1:42 left in the first quarter. The Flyers would add 4 more touchdowns for the night. A 22 yard pass to Connor Manley, an 86 yard pass to Garrett Krueger, and a 28 yard pass to Logan Offner in the second quarter. The half time score was 25-7. The Flyers scored one more touchdown with 6:14 left in the third quarter. It was a 16 yard pass to Jay Dupree to make the score 32-7 in favor of the Flyers. The Flyers missed the second extra point and went for the 2 point conversion after the 3rd and 4th touchdowns. Both tries failed and they kicked the extra point on the last touchdown. Chuck Houska threw for over 300 yards tonight to nine different receivers. Tonight we saw a lot of gang tackling on defense by both teams. The Lion’s Choice Athlete of the Game for this game was Chuck Houska and the Custom Shirt Graphics Standout player of the game was Jay Dupree. Thanks for tuning in to and visiting The technical issues are being worked on.
