Kodner2011 Francis Howell North logo Francis Howell Central logoClick here for the game – It was Hall of Fame night at Francis Howell Central where the annual rivalry with Howell North would take place between the girls and boys programs.  In the girls game, it would match a very inexperienced Central (2-12) team that had only one senior and 5 underclassmen with a more seasoned squad at North (8-5) that had 7 seniors and 4 returning starters from last year.  Central came out of the gates and sported a 9-2 lead early in the first period, helped by the scoring of Lauren Nosal and Emma Raup.  By the end of the period, the North Knights would catch up and even the score at 11.  The confident Knights then began to pull away in the second quarter, as Maci May came off the bench to chip in 6 points.  The teams went into halftime with North on top 30-23.  The Knights extended their lead in the third period ans senior Madison Gillam controlled the game with her shooting and rebounding.  Raup tried to keep the Spartans in the game adding 7 points in the final quarter, but it was not enough as the Knights won the game 59-51.
